Who we are
BolaBabble ("we", "us") is an iOS application operated by Aveer Saxena (sole developer) that helps parents track their child's speech development. Contact: aveersaxena@gmail.com. This policy describes what data BolaBabble collects, why, and how you can control it.
Data we collect
- Account data. Email address and Google sign-in identifier, used to authenticate you via Firebase Authentication.
- Audio recordings. Short audio clips captured during recording sessions. Audio is transcribed on-device using WhisperKit and is not uploaded to our servers.
- Transcripts and milestones. Text transcripts, detected words, timestamps, and milestone metadata are stored in your private Firestore document, scoped to your account.
- Diagnostics. Anonymous crash and performance data via Firebase, used to fix bugs.
How we use data
We use your data only to provide the app's features: authenticating you, syncing your transcripts and milestones across your devices, and improving stability. We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.
Children's privacy
BolaBabble is intended for use by parents and guardians. Audio of children is processed on-device and transcripts are stored in the parent's private account. We do not knowingly create accounts for children under 13.

Data retention and deletion
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app (Settings → Delete Account) or by visiting bolababble.com/support/delete-account. Deletion is permanent and typically completes within 30 days.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Email aveersaxena@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.
